Individually hand sculpted this Sail Boat in Portland Stone has been created by the celebrated Dorset based sculptor John Davey.
Inspired by the sailing boats that John frequently sees off the coast of Portland and Weymouth, John has named this series 'Spin' each Sail Boat is marked with this title and it's individual no. This striking piece is a slightly larger and is very similiar in it's shape and lines to the smaller series that John sculpts called 'Run'.
This piece will be the perfect addition to your home, positioned on a book shelf, windowsill, harth or outdoors amongst potted plants in your garden, patio, terrace or balcony.
John has 30 years experience as a Sculptor and Stonemason. Many of Johns works are inspired by natural and man-made forms and he often works with a combination of stone and wood.
