Ian’s richly toned works in oil are of local and European scenes, his depictions of Venice are particularly popular and are collected internationally.
Ian has exhibited his work in England, USA and Germany and has shown his paintings at the Royal Academy in London, as well as the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, and the Royal Society of Marine Artists.
His work has been accepted twice for the prestigious Lynn-Painter-Stainers Prize at the Mall Galleries. In 2016 he was elected Artist of the Year by the Mall Galleries in London, an accolade well deserved.
His work is highly collected and hangs in many private and public collections worldwide.
